Question : It's lagging!
Answer : That's not a question ! Next ! Peuh !

Question : Why does it lag ? !
Answer : Ask Leto, he's our chief !

Question : I've already been fooled by this one !
Answer : Well well well ! All right!
First of all let's check a few points :
- you have a computer
- it is powered
- if I say "close the window" and you think to yourself that it is a bit cold indeed, don't come back

Now that we have checked this points, let's give some answers:
Absolute answer : IT'S NOT LAGGING !
However it may have a very low frame rate. Cassos! has actually been tested on a PC with a GeForce2 and a CPU at 1.3Ghz and worked pretty well. But we have heard of problems with CPU's over 2Ghz and GeForce4 graphic cards or better. Chances are that the problem comes from drivers or sotware configurations. We did not find a common answer to every problem encountered, but here is a few hints that have had interesting effects (meaning it made it work better):
- update the graphic card driver (the latest version is not always the best though)
- change the screen display in 16 bit in the display properties (windows)
- close all other softwares including anti-virus and peer 2 peer (Cassos! is not the kind of game to share ressources). If the frame rate is not bad but the caracter seems to answer after a few seconds, that's probably the problem.
- deactivate options like music, Moustik and the trees (quick and dirty solution)
- reduce the size of the window (still quick)
- try the OpenGL version of java3D Here (up to now it hasn't change anything but who knows...)

Question : Isn't Java that software that is going to crash my computer?
Answer : No ! First of all Java isn't permanentlypersisted on your computer, in other words as long as you are not running a Java program it will be as if you had never installed it. So if you encounter problems that are not in Cassos! IT'S-NOT-JAVA !

Question : Why can't I register my scores?
Answer : This problem could come from softwares that "control" connexions coming out from your computer to internet. There are mostly two types of this programes: antivirus and firewalls. Of course to register your scores Cassos! needs to send them on the internet, so make sure you have well configured those softwares if you have some installer (or else call an exorcist).
Note: screenshots or pictures sent by email or even by letters will not be accepted!

Question : I could not find Java3d for Linux, are you guys paid by 'Cro$oft??
Answer : On the contrary, Java is one of the biggest challenger to B.G. However I don't know why there is not Java3D on Sun's site. You can obtain a version of Java3D for Linux done by BlackDown (untested...feedback appreciated).

Question : I've already played with the Canaille de Fal Druim and I lost my underwear, my wife, my house, my dog, my workl and my reason. What am I going to loose with Cassos ?
Answer : Peuh ! The risks are just the same as for any program you download on the internet.
Ohhh... ! What ever happened to trust in this world? ! PEUH !

Question : What is this big beast flying around ?
Answer : Now here is the story of the this beast: after centuries of wars, hunts and persecutions by the lurikeens (including the Canaiiles), dragons decided to invert the roles. So they began a slow evolution toward a much more terrifying creature, one capable of spwaning thousands of eggs and so vicious that it litterally pumps the blood of the lurikeens (slowly so that it takes lasts) : the mosquito ! The beast the Canailles use to motivate their runners is none the less then the missing link: Moustik the Dragon

Question : How do I kill it?
Answer : With a paper and a lot of patience. We recommand a way better solution though : running !

Question : What about the sword ? !
Answer : Well it's a handicap in all races including an adventurer who thought he would only have to kill a few rats and insects.
